Cotswolds – Day 6

We enjoyed a touch of luxury both with a much appreciated hot shower and a deep sleep on a very comfortable bed that felt like we were floating on clouds topped off with a full English breakfast the next morning in a light filled dining room.

I left Jenny to the packing whilst I hiked 45min out of town to pickup the hire car before returning to pick Jenny and the luggage up. (Wow, what a difference it makes driving on the left side of the road, rather than the added stress of the wrong side of the road like Italy!)

The weather has been kind and the Cotswolds were at there very best for us! We were in heaven with the charm of these English villages with their quaint stone cottages and their matching gardens! Magnificent!
We toured around a number the Cotswold villages before arriving at our destination for the evening. We are staying at an AirBnB for the night with a lovely lady and a couple of other guests all sharing the one bathroom! (right down your alley Alan!)

We wandered into town and enjoyed a pub meal along with a cider and enjoyed watching the locals along with their dogs IN THE PUB!
